Thirty-one players remaining in camp with the Montreal Canadiens as they look ahead to their penultimate pre-season game Thursday night at the Bell Centre when the Buffalo Sabres come to town.

After an initial series of cuts in the opening days of training camp, which reduced the roster to 53 players, there were two waives of player cuts yesterday:  16 players were released early in the day, including forwards Aaron Palushaj and Ian Schultz, as well as defenceman Jarred Tinordi.
