WHITE AND WEBER TO RIDE THE BUSES AGAIN


And so it has come to this for forwards Ryan White and Ben Maxwell, defencemen Yannick Weber and Alex Henry and goalie Curtis Sanford. On the eve of the Montreal Canadiens‘ regular-season opener in Toronto against the Leafs, the Habs broke camp and announced that the five would be making their way to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

Following three days of bonding and practices in the Quebec City region, the Habs boarded a late afternoon charter for Toronto and tomorrow night’s season opener.  White, Maxwell, Weber, Henry and Sanford were among them.  However, upon their arrival, the five aforementioned players boarded a bus to Hamilton, while their (former) teammates made their way to their Toronto hotel and one more sleep before the start of the regular season.
