Canadiens goalie Carey Price says although he’s been feeling better over the past week or so, he says he’s still dealing with the effects of a concussion suffered March 20th when teammate David Desharnais ran into him at practice.

Price, who joined the rest of the Canadiens at Brossard for “Garbage Bag Day”, says he started to suffer headaches after the incident, but figured he could play through them. However, Price says the headaches didn’t get better. In fact, they got worse.

In addition to being diagnosed with a concussion, Price says the incident left him with a compressed spine, and he’s still dealing with head and neck issues.  In addition, Price says he’s dealing with some other health-realted issues — claims they aren’t serious — that might have to be “cleaned up” as he put it.  However, he didn’t elaborate.
